Sorry, no pets are allowed.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only.
Children welcome with energetic, attentive responsible parents.
Normally, we expect our guests to arrive between 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm and depart by noon. However, check-in and check-out times are flexible with advance notification as we understand that variables may necessitate a different schedule. So, let us know your needs when making reservations and we’ll be pleased to accommodate.
A one night deposit is required upon making the reservation and will be cheerfully refunded if your plans change, as long as you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. The balance is due at check in. To keep our rates competitive, we prefer payment in cash or by personal check.
A complete copy of the guest house policies are located in the kitchen.

Spiker, owners of Sunny Pointe Guest House, welcome you and are pleased to
have you as our guests. We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us. The
guest house was lovingly and painstakingly renovated with your comfort in
mind. Please treat it as such so that other guests may use and enjoy it
also.
We ask that you follow a few house rules during your stay:
~ Please respect “Quiet Time” from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
~ Please do not place any flammable materials near the fireplaces.
~ No smoking is permitted inside the guest house but is permitted outdoors
as
long as your cigarette butts are disposed of in available receptacles.
~ Check out time is noon.
Before vacating the guest house, please do the following:
~ Strip all beds that have been used and leave sheets and any used towels at
the
basement door.
~ Load and run dishwasher-you may leave it running, however do not use
dishwashing liquid in the dishwasher.
~ Turn off all lights and close doors.
~ Set all thermostats to 70 degrees in winter and off in summer. Failure to
comply will result in forfeiture of damage deposit.
~ Double check for items that you may have forgotten. Postage plus a $10.00
fee
is charged to return all personal items left behind.
~ Bag all trash from inside and out and deposit in trash cans by the back
gate.
Additional garbage bags are in the kitchen pantry. Any overflow please put
in
the basement ~ DO NOT LEAVE OUTSIDE.
~ Please remove all items in refrigerator and freezer that you brought.
~ Everything in this house has been thoroughly inventoried and recorded.
Please leave everything as you found it, and above all, treat this house as
if it
was your own.
